Overground Broadcasting / Underground Broadcasting

Now I am sure you have sen the Youtube videos of Gou Miyagi and the insane round rails he gets on...

Well the video that it's from is called Overground Broadcasting / Underground Broadcasting. The guy who did it is a homie, Takahire Morita.

We meet back in 2001, when I lived in Brooklyn.

He came over to film and skate. We hung out a lot and skated and all that.
Since then, he has spent the last 7years going back to NYC once a year to film ( a long with 12 other counrties).

He is truly a heart felt skater! Mr.Morita (as I call him), has been doing Far East for over a decade now and bringing the Japanese skateboard world to the rest of us!

He is a great part of skateboarding and his video is the most diverse video/ film of/ about skateboarding I have ever seen!

I got sneakers and bad news for the bday... Vol.2 (walk-in, roll-out)

So this section is about what happened in the actual surgery but I on't remember anything... Got there at 9 talked to some people, got sent to a room, spoke to Danijel about what they would do and him going on tour, then off to another room, talked to some people with masks on, a female mask said that I would feel 'something' in my arm, then my arm FUQN hurt and I woke up and it was 5.30!!!!! oh, and I had half a cyborg attached to my leg...

As I am getting wheeled out to the car, I am saying "Nah, I'm cool, I can walk, I'm not even dizzy"... Got up and almost ended up back on the surgery table.
Anyway, I get home and end up finally feeling normal, (kind of)...So, the next day, I had to go back to the same hospital and meet the Physical Theropy guy,

in what turned out to be a ear doctor's office?!?

What the hell are those for?!

There are some insane things in the Dr.'s office! Freal!


I was realizing that my crouches and I would become very good friends...
and that now, they seemed far away across the room!
There are a lot of papers in this counrty, papers for everything... This kat had 2 different papers, #1 said that I should NOT put weight on my knee after the surgery, #2 said, DO put weight on my knee after the surgery.... We had him make the call to the horse (the surgeon) and hear it from him mouth! Then, the guy does what everyone does in this place, grab my leg and twist it till I tell them to stop...
And see, I told you... Even more papers! But at least one gets me drugs.
I get some, exercizes and whatnot....

Then got some info and I was out!

Thanx, for fixing the meniscus and see you in the spring for the ACL...

Damn! U know youre old when u need to drink "Balance water" to be able to skate...

I got sneakers and bad news for the bday... Vol.1

So I woke up and headed to the Hospital, with my Zombies* on for the Bday, to see what they were gonna say about the MRI... Dr. freaked me and my sneakers out by saying that I need to have 2 surgeries and told me that the first was am emergency so I had to go to another hospital, today!

My sneakers was like, 'Bump that, les go home and at least have breakfast with the fam'. So that is what we did...

When we got back home, it turned out that i had a new pair of Zombies* to keep me company on the day's mission...

They were like, "whats cooking? smells good!", so we went to eat...After eating, they told me, "Alright, you ready for this mission, it ain't no point puttin it off any longer...", so we got out and got into it...So we got to the Mondal hospital, and they were like, "shiiiiiiiit, how long is this gonna take?"...
I was sayin to them that they should take it easy and not be so anxious!To calm them down I showed them my driver's licence picture inwhich i was super hung over...We finally got into the room and they asked about the button on my jacket...
They were saying that they didn't think the knee looked so bad...This guy asurred them to the oppisite and that surgerys were a MUST! and SOON!

My sneakers started to look around the room and wonder about the instruments and what they were all for?! Even the circus of pain that they would soon witness...
They gave me a look that told me it was time for some tunes to calm the mood...
Then we got the news that surgery #1 would be on Thursday, and it was the small one ...
I singed a paper that I have no clue what it said... and got some information about how to take a shower with this special soap, my sneakers were like, "Seriously? Who the Hell needs a step by step manual on how to wash your own ass?", I told them to pipe-down...Then we went to lunch at the in-laws and they were left in the hall for all of the bad mouthing at the hospital...Then we went on to the pharmicy to get said special soap...Parked and walked to the shop...Opened up to start sellin stuff and writing on the Blog...

*Zombie (sneakers, that are considered 'Deadstock**' but only worn on special occasions, so considered halfdead or living dead)
**Deadstock (sneakers that are kept in the box in prime condition)
